History

Interfracht was founded on April 1, 1972 in Bremen, Germany by Hans Peter Hogenkamp and Udo Karrasch. The company initially operated from the historic Cotton Exchange building in Bremen before later relocating to the Europahafen area.

Built for Continuous growth

In early 1993, we proudly relocated to our newly built facility, which remains the Interfracht Group headquarters today. The building provides around 32,000 sq ft of office space and is located in Stuhr-Brinkum, close to Bremen International Airport.

Today, the Interfracht Group operates a global network of offices and representative locations across the United States, Germany, Europe, and Asia. The group employs approximately 520 people worldwide.

All operations are organized under the holding company Interfracht Speditions-Gesellschaft GmbH & Co. KG.
